Julie Puaux grew up in Paris and moved to New York in her early 20s. She graduated with a BFA and Masters Degree in Architecture in 2009 and has been working ever since. Julie believes that architecture cannot stand on its own if not supported by other fields such as art, poetry, literature, cinematography, and science. She continues to explore the field through a lens of many different components intertwined, in order to create a larger whole. Julie’s research allows her to enter a world of uncertainty where the unknown can be explored, and where new visuals can transport people to another place. As Nobel Laureate Sir Paul Nurse once proclaimed, “If you want to be creative, explore the edges.”
